چکیده

Abstract. Low-alloy TRIP steel sheets with ultra-high-strength that utilize transformation-induced plasticity of retained austenite have high strength and ductility. In this study, low-alloy thermo-mechanical treatment warm rolling were prepared, the effects on tensile properties investigated. A hot-rolled sheet Ms 418.5°C was austenized then quenched in a salt bath kept at 450°C. Two specimens warm-rolled by 40 60% isothermally held 350℃ for 1ks. For comparison, specimen directly heat-treated 350°C The three subjected to microstructural characterizations tests temperatures ranging from 25 300°C. It confirmed increases ductility/strength balance. X-ray diffraction showed causes an increase volume fraction austenite, while its stability against deformation somewhat complicated. effect temperature reduction uniform elongation, which is parameter mostly affected TRIP, successfully understood terms austenite.

Stabilisation of ferrite in hot rolled d-TRIP steel

A steel has recently been designed to benefit from the deformation induced transformation of retained austenite present in association with bainitic ferrite. It has as its major microstructural component, dendrites of d-ferrite introduced during solidification. The d-ferrite replaces the allotriomorphic ferrite present in conventional alloys of this kind. The authors examine here the stability ...

Effects of Warm Laser Peening on Thermal Stability and High Temperature Mechanical Properties of A356 Alloy

To study the effects of warm laser peening (WLP) on the thermal stability and mechanical properties of A356 alloy, the samples were treated by WLP using a Nd:YAG solid-state laser and temperature control device. The residual stress, micro-hardness and microstructures of samples treated by WLP were observed. The result shows that the temperature significantly affects the strengthening effect of ...

Multishock Compression Properties of Warm Dense Argon

Warm dense argon was generated by a shock reverberation technique. The diagnostics of warm dense argon were performed by a multichannel optical pyrometer and a velocity interferometer system. The equations of state in the pressure-density range of 20-150 GPa and 1.9-5.3 g/cm(3) from the first- to fourth-shock compression were presented. The single-shock temperatures in the range of 17.2-23.4 kK...
